David was born in 1954 in Suffolk, Virginia, but moved to Delray Beach, Florida, in the fall of 1963, where he first became interested in the paranormal. In 1965, his next door next door neighbor, Fred W. Grosstuck, a retired college professor and pattern maker, gave him a book called "Adventures in the Paranormal", essentially a collection of short stories of events from all over the world that were scientifically unexplainable. Fred also introduced him to Fate magazine. He proceeded to read every book about the paranormal he could get his hands on. He participated in the exploration of his first "haunted house" at the age of 17 in Boynton Beach, Florida.
He received his B.S.E.E. in 1973 while serving in the Air Force, in microwave technology. In November of 2007 he received his Masters in Electronic Engineering in Digital Signal Processing. In 1978 he was certified as an audio engineer and in 1985 as an acoustic engineer. David worked in the entertainment industry as a Technical Director, Lighting Designer and Audio Engineer for over twenty years. He retired from the University of Florida in 2001. Currently David is Manager of Public Address Communications Technologies and Director of the Audio Research and Development Lab for the third largest public transportation corporation in the nation. He is currently working on his doctorate in physics.
David is a professional member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Audio Engineering Society, the International Frequency Sensor Association, and is also affiliated with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He was recently invited to join the Mathematics Association of America.
David began his research into the paranormal professionally in 1976, and has investigated cases scientifically from Rhode Island to Key West, Florida. David has experimented with both scientific as well as metaphysical techniques in his study of unexplained occurrences. Over the course of his research he was able to confirm EVP was not related to sound by the use of a Bell Jar, a vacuum pump, a Shure dynamic microphone and a TEAC A-4010S Reel to Reel recorder. Due to several encounters of a very negative nature from 1985-87, he made the decision to concentrate on the scientific research concerning the phenomena, and not the metaphysical aspects of the events. In 1992 David formed a new organization, Scientific Paranormal Investigative Research Information and Technology (S.P.I.R.I.T.), and began a long and painstaking process of collecting, building and focusing a battery of hi-tech instrumentation to concentrate on laboratory and field experimentation to search for the cause of paranormal phenomena. By 1998 his focus of research had narrowed to phenomena specific to “Hauntings”.
His primary focus since 1998 has been EVP research, employing his background of audio engineering and psychoacoustics. In 2005 David successfully linked electromagnetic fields as the primary source of EVPs. In 2010 he discovered that paranormal related EMF was an emergent phenomenon. This has led him to develope a wormhole hypothesis associated with a paranormal event horizon. He continues to look for answers in science for paranormal phenomena.
David's additional areas of research includes investigating the relationship between free air conductance, magnetic fields, radioactive emissions, electromagnetic fields and other electrical radiation surrounding paranormal phenomena. He is also experimenting with injecting energy into a paranormal event horizon using Tesla Coil technology in order to observe and record the effects. He continues to measure the effects of massive ion bombardment in a paranormal environment. He is developing a device designed to capture and analyze the phenomena referred to as orbs in order to either prove or dismiss their existence. David is also experimenting with a self designed ITC (Interdimensional Trans-Communications) device using electromagnetic field propagation as a medium of cross communication. He is also studying the environmental effects surrounding mediums and psychics when they are active in their work.
David is a board member of the Professional Society for the Advancement of Paranormal Research and is currently serving as Acting Executive Director. He is the Director of the S.P.I.R.I.T. Laboratory, Co-Director of New Jersey Paranormal Resource Group, Co-Founder of New Jersey Paranormal Investigative Coalition, a professional member of the Rhine Research Center, life member of the New Jersey Ghost Hunter’s Society, member of the International Paranormal Investigators, and a member of the International Paranormal Research Association. He is also a consultant for Paranexus Anomalous Research, Inc. He is a member of numerous paranormal organizations and groups.
David was featured on Comcast Newsmakers in 2006. He has also been a guest on WNTI FM, and WRNJ AM-FM radio in Hackettstown, NJ, as well as a repeat guest on HSTV Channel 23 in Hackettstown on the show “Science on the Edge” hosted by Dr. Karl Hricko. He has made guest appearances on Web Radio programs such as Ecto Radio, The Shadow Hour, Dead Time Radio, Paranexus Anomalous Radio, with Royce Holleman on Paranormal Palace Radio, Paratopia Radio, and recently nationwide on Coast to Coast AM and WOIC AM in Columbia South Carolina. He co-hosts “The Devil’s Advocate podcast with Dr. Stephen Rorke and has interviewed such researchers such as Dr. Susan Blackmore and Dr. Michael Persinger.
Robbie was born in an army hospital in Augsburg, West Germany in the middle of the Cold War. His father was an intelligence officer, the true warriors in the day-to-day battles of the conflict. Moving between Germany and the Metro DC area fairly regularly in his childhood gave him a very broad cultural awareness.
Sensitive since a young age, his interst in the paranormal was never stymied, in fact, it was subtly encouraged. Two of the earliest books he received from his grandparents were, "The Return of the Greyman and Georgetown Ghosts" and "This Haunted Land: Where Ghosts Still Roam." At the tender age of seven, he was introduced to the fascination world of martial arts. It was at that point he was first trained in meditation and concept of chi. He has tried to be diligent with the practices over the years.
An epiphany occurred on a family trip to Stonehenge, the energy was almost overwhelming to him yet no one else notice. He realized he perceived the world quite differently. This perception coupled with the screaming throngs of humanity guided his career choice. Robbie chose a life in entertainment. Starting as a stagehand in Munich and doing a tour of Europe, he moved on to working shows in Gainsville, Florida. Starting first on the university crew, culmination in being the assistant technical director for the University Performing Arts Series. At the same time he was setting up and running light shows through out the south. He also threw in a couple of Rock and Roll tours for good measure. Then came the theme parks years, Universal Studios and City Walk.
Working in the entertainment business is conduction to metaphysical studies. First, theaters are rife with ghostly inhabitants. If you add to that, the freedom allowed by the community to be yourself, you have an environment where people are willing to search and explore the fringes of thought and society. More importantly you have an open community of individuals who are willing and not embarrassed to share their experiences. Robbie thrived.
While he was growing up Robbie always wanted to live in a haunted house. He finally got his wish, tenfold and found out that things that go bump in the night sometimes can hurt you. Experiences with very negative entities set Robbie on the shamanic path.
When a student is ready the teacher will appear. Robbie's fortuitous meeting with Tai Chi and Reiki master William Smith truly opened his eyes to the flow and use of chi in everyday life. It was through Bill that Robbie met his current spiritual teacher, guide and friend, John P. Milton. John helped hone Robbie's belief in the commonality of all the spiritual traditions of the earth.
Robbie's interests range from Bon Buddhism to cryptozoology. He considers his avocation to be an Arcaneologist; he lives to study the esoteric, mysterious secret and obscure.

Paranormal Technology is the first book to provide a scientific method for ghost hunting, which includes in-depth explanations of what the collected data means. Paranormal Technology offers new techniques, answers questions, and provides experiments, which will help bridge the gap between the paranormal and science. Written in everyday language, it offers keen insights into the nature of paranormal phenomena, the protocols required for collecting evidence that will stand up to scientific scrutiny, and the possible theories that may explain the source of "Ghosts". Currently employed test equipment is examined and proper use is covered in great detail. Paranormal Technology is an indispensible aid to any scientific researcher or ghost hunting group, whether you are a beginner, or with many years of experience. This book is not a means to an end, but rather, an invitation to a fresh begining.
This two hour show with Pablo was riveting. Besides his personal struggles to get to America his UFO experiences were just mind blowing. His book only covers a fraction of what he has encountered.
